Village Operations

The Village of Dunlap is a municipality incorporated and organized under the laws of the State of Illinois for the purposes of providing its residents with the following services:

• Sewer and water service
• Village parks
• Street repair and maintenance
• Snow removal
• Contract for police protection (Peoria County Sheriff)
• Planned development and growth

The Village of Dunlap has certain functional subdivisions (shown below).  The operating budget of the Village of Dunlap is $922,335.00.  The Village's sole office is located at 104 North Second Street in Dunlap.  The Village maintains a lagoon east of Cedar Hills Drive on Legion Hall Road for its sewer system and two pumping stations located on Legion Hall Road and at 616 Breckenridge Drive.  The Village currently employs two full-time employees and several part-time employees at various times during the year.
